Patricia Rexer, CRNP

Patricia Rexer, CRNP Bio

Patricia Rexer is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in allergy, asthma, and immunology for adult and pediatric care.  She began her career as a charge nurse in the intensive care unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital.  From there she moved on to work as a triage nurse with Sacred Heart Visiting Nurses before obtaining her Masters of Nursing Education and beginning her time as a nursing professor.  Over the course of 20 years, she taught at St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing, Community College of Philadelphia, and Drexel University. Upon obtaining her Post Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she began working as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the Mary Howard Health Center where she treated acute and chronically ill adults experiencing homelessness. Patti then began working for Penn Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner providing telemedicine services through the first full year of the COVID-19 pandemic.  She has now thankfully found a home at The Asthma Center working alongside our team of allergy and asthma specialists.
