Raquel B. Empedrad, MD



Dr. Raquel Empedrad received her MD from Cebu Doctors’ University and served her residency in internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center at Long Island, NY. She completed her allergy fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Parkland Memorial Hospital and University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Empedrad is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (FAAAAI) and a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Dr. Empedrad is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine. She has active privileges at Hahnemann University Hospital, courtesy privileges at Pennsylvania Hospital and consulting privileges at Virtua-Memorial Hospital. She also was an Assistant Professsor of Clinical Medicine at University of Illinois before joining The Asthma Center.
