Ventolin Sample Recall

We have received notification from GlaxoSmithKline that some lot numbers of Ventolin sample inhalers have been recalled due to the potential that a very low level of canisters may not contain sufficient propellant to deliver the labeled claim of 60 actuations. The lots included in this recall are: 1ZP0922; 1ZP0571; 1ZP6915; 1ZP6939; 1ZP7823; 1ZP8151; 1ZP0856; 1ZP1981; 1ZP6941; 1ZP7824;1ZP9063; 1ZP1061; 1ZP6940; 1ZP9680. The recalled products were shipped between September 23, 2011 and January 10, 2012. Please check any samples you have in your possession to ensure it is not any of the affected lots. If you are in possession of Ventolin affected by this recall, you can bring your Ventolin into you Asthma Center office and receive a new sample (if one is available).

Tips to minimize your allergy symptoms

Use air-conditioning instead of open windows, so the breeze doesn't carry outdoor allergens into your home

Don't hang your laundry out to dry
Shower after spending time outside
