Delaware Valley’s Pollen Count Source
Since 1990 The Asthma Center is the region’s only official source for today’s pollen, mold, and ragweed counts. We operate two official monitoring stations in the Delaware Valley, one in Center City, Philadelphia and the other in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
During the pollen season, The Asthma Center team collects, analyzes, and publishes the region’s official daily pollen count. We often share our research with local and national media (check out Dr. Don Dvorin on CBS below!), and use our expertise about local pollen conditions to understand the air you breathe so we can treat you better!
During the spring, summer, and fall, we post daily pollen counts to our website, the NAB website, and to our pollen count subscribers.

Pollen and mold research data is the sole property of The Asthma Center and cannot be reproduced, used commercially (e.g. clinical trials), or redistributed for any reason without written permission from The Asthma Center.
Volumetric air sampling is performed by the Burkard Spore Trap Device. Sampling is obtained by a 24-hour period. This service is supported by The Asthma Center Education and Research Fund.

The Pollen and Mold Spore Count interpretations for “Symptom Correlation” indicate the level of symptom discomfort for most allergy sufferers. However, some very sensitive individuals may have considerable symptoms even with low pollen and mold spore counts while mildly allergic individuals may not suffer greatly, even with high pollen and mold spore counts. Further, individuals receiving allergy treatment often experience fewer symptoms than they might otherwise, even with elevated pollen and mold spore counts.
